AeroEAD provides an interface between IAS aeronautical database (AeroDB) and Eurocontrol EAD. It enables EAD data providers and EAD users to exchange data in both directions between the two databases using the ESI interface. It allows the connection between IAS aeronautical database (AeroDB) and the european AIS Database (EAD).

The users take advantage of the AeroDB unique flexibility to fit their particular needs, while still sharing the relevant data information with EAD.

AeroEAD is totally compatible with the EAD program. It integrates existing IDS Aeronautical applications with the SDO and PAMS subsystem of the EAD. Third party INO system providers will be allowed to use the existing architecture to communicate between their application and the INO subsystem of the EAD.

A typical approach is as follows:

• IDS provides an EAD compliant default AeroDB. All IDS aeronautical software products will be compatible with this new default AeroD
